Cafe-Hopping

My new found hobby- cafe-hopping. I really like to explore around for new cafes especially with my bestf. I have a small appetite, thus i need someone to share my food. And yes, bestf will always be there to eat my portion. Hehee. I like how cafes allow us to just chill, chit-chat and enjoy. It's just so therapeutic and relaxing.

Mo and I baked lemon pound cake. It was a success!

Dong Po colonial Cafe located somewhere near arab street.  Really old-school and nostalgic ambiance.

Bostock was definitely the star of the night.
Toasted bread topped with sliced almonds and dusted with icing sugar.
Bread lovers like me would definitely love it.

Top: Apple Aloe Cake
Middle: Chocolate Sweetheart
Bottom: Raspberry Jam Tart
Apple Aloe cake was the best out of these three. Not too sweet, and it's really refreshing.
The chocolate one, was great too. I didn't quite like the tart because i don't really like raspberry.
However, that tart itself was good. I removed the jam and ate the tart anyway. haha.
As you know, i really love all kind of cakes and pastries, so i would say that these three are definitely worth to try.

Left:Optical Box
Right: Long cup cake

These two were bought because of their attractive and cute appearance.
Taste wise, those were pretty much like normal cakes.
Optical Box was a little better than the Long Cup cake.
The optical box has a thin layer of chocolate ganache inside, which i think it makes the whole cake tastes good.

Nevertheless, we were still happy with all of our food !
Good food with great company!
Had a h2h talk with bestf and it was all good too.

Random pic. One of my favorite fruits. I love both the purple and green ones!
